Leaders and managers have made sure that all staff have completed suitable training in safeguarding and the ‘Prevent’ duty. Staff are aware of the main risks to their learners, including radicalisation and extremism, and make learners aware of these. Leaders liaise with appropriate external agencies and have clear procedures for staff and learners to report any concerns. Learners understand different types of safeguarding risks and know who to go to if they need support. However, staff do not teach learners about the risks associated with their local area.
p.2
Reasonable progress
Staff check whether learners are vulnerable at enrolment. They check regularly on the welfare of learners, particularly if any miss lessons.
