Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2 . If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 1 August 2024, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements, relating to safety of premises, outdoor access and risk assessment.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 13 August 2024, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider has taken all reasonable steps to ensure staff and children in their care are not exposed to risks. There are robust risk assessments in place which inform staff practice. In addition, we found the provider has a secure fire risk assessment in place. We also found the provider has ensured that the premises are fit for purpose. We found that staff are deployed effectively, and children are supervised well. Furthermore, we found that children have access to a secure outdoor play area. However, the provider did not meet their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a change to the premises which may affect the space available to children. The provider has now reviewed the requirements to ensure that they are aware of all changes that must be notified to Ofsted in the future. The provider will be able to give parents further information
p.1
