This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder demonstrates weak knowledge of local procedures to follow to keep children safe from harm. She is unable to recognise some of the signs that may indicate a child is at risk. This does not ensure that all children will be kept safe at the setting. n The childminder has weak knowledge of the curriculum. She is not able to demonstrate well enough how she will ensure all children have access to stimulating learning experiences that will support them to make good enough progress in their development. n The childminder shares policies, procedures and resources with her co- childminder. However, she does not have a clear enough understanding of her own roles and responsibilities. n The childminder demonstrates some knowledge of working with partners and agencies to support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). However, she is not able to demonstrate well enough about how she

would identify gaps in children's learning and development. In addition, the childminder does not understand how she will ensure that children with SEND receive the full support they require to fully thrive. n The childminder's understanding of risk assessments is weak. She fails to demonstrate how she would identify and remove risks from within the premises to ensure they remain safe and suitable. n The childminder does not have appropriate insurance for her setting, which is a breach of legal requirements.

p.2

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
