The provision is good

Children flourish with this experienced childminder. They form close attachments with the childminder and show they are very settled, approaching her for cuddles and reassurance during the day. The childminder knows the children very well. She obtains key information from parents when children start, so she is aware of their needs and what their interests are. The childminder plans a broad curriculum, allowing for young children to make decisions in their play. She supports their learning, ensuring that they are immersed in a language-rich environment, asking questions and describing what children are doing as they explore.

Children respond positively to conversations and show that they remember past events. For example, they recall when they made paper balls at playgroup by rolling the paper in the same way. Children demonstrate they have a very good vocabulary of words, and toddlers are heard to copy and repeat words.
