p.1
The provision is outstanding
The childminder is highly skilled at forming nurturing bonds with all children. She takes the time to understand each child's unique personality and encourages their interests. This makes children extremely happy. Following the last inspection, both the childminder and her co-childminder have excelled at promoting children's superb behaviour and positive attitudes to learning. They listen carefully to children and think about the best time to intervene. This enables children to manage age- appropriate risks and challenges extremely well. For instance, children work very hard to arrange the equipment for their obstacle course. They consistently show high levels of problem-solving and independence skills.
p.2
The provision is outstanding
The childminder sets high expectations for her educational programmes. She uses her expertise to engage children in conversations, asking them questions and offering suggestions. This approach greatly enhances children's language and thinking skills. The childminder creates wonderful opportunities for children to deepen their knowledge of the natural world. For instance, she actively engages children in observing insects, bugs and minibeasts during outdoor play. The childminder and her co-childminder instil in children the value of caring for their environment. This approach teaches children to gain a strong enthusiasm for keeping their environment tidy and safe. Children assist adults without hesitation and remind each other to put away their toys.

n The childminder is highly committed to improving her practice. She reflects consistently and rigorously on the service provided. For example, the childminder now works even more closely with the schools that the children attend compared to her last inspection. She uses her precise assessments of children's learning to identify gaps and offers highly effective support. Her work has made a noticeable difference in enhancing children's language, physical and social abilities. This includes children who need additional support to catch up with their peers and those who are eligible to receive funding. This gives all children the best possible start in their education. n The childminder liaises with other professionals to increase her knowledge and

This helps to consolidate children's learning and it supports their early literacy skills very well. n The childminder and her co-childminder excel in their approach to behaviour management, which is a key strength of this setting. Children behave extremely well. They show great care and kindness even at a young age.
