Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 1 May 2024, we carried out an inspection and found the childminder was not meeting some of these requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 4 June 2024, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection. We found that the childminder had improved their knowledge and understanding of child protection procedures and now fully understands their responsibilities. The childminder has reviewed how they assess risks to children and taken action to make sure that children are safe in the environment. The childminder uses their assessment of children's progress to identify any gaps in their attainment. They are working with parents to provide support to children who are due to transition to their next stage of learning in the near future.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the childminder has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at the inspection and now due. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
