Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.2

Summary of outcome

On 30 May 2024, we completed an unannounced regulatory visit to monitor the welfare requirement notice. We found the provider has implemented effective risk assessments to minimise the hazards accessible to the children and to ensure all areas of the premises used by the children are safe and suitable. The arrangements for sleeping, nappy change and toileting have been improved, and good hygiene procedures are implemented to protect children's health and well-being. The attendance records have been updated to include the adults who care for the children and maintain records of which children are taken off-site with an adult, for example, during a school run. The adult-to-child ratios have been reviewed to ensure that the ratios stipulated in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage for childminders are met.
