Summary of outcome
On 16 May 2024, we carried out a further monitoring visit to the setting. We found that the provider had established clear roles and responsibilities for staff, including the manager and deputy manager and relevant qualifications were in place. This means staff can carry out their roles and meet the needs of the children. There is now a designated member of staff to act as a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and additional staff have started to complete special educational needs training. Updated risk assessments are now in place and action has been taken to make safe the garden gate and the climbing frame. All staff have completed a food hygiene training course which means they are now able to safely prepare and handle food for children. Furthermore, the recruitment of additional staff has enabled staff to support children to receive quality learning and development experiences.
