Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

The manager now has plans in place to ensure all staff receive induction training to help them understand their roles and responsibilities and has put appropriate arrangements in place for the supervision of staff. The manager has reviewed the organisation of some daily routines so that children now wash their hands before eating and after messy play. They now have plans in place to ensure all records are easily accessible and available for inspection.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We found that the provider had not implemented a safeguarding policy that contained the correct reporting procedures or the most recent information regarding electronic devices. The manager has not ensured staff know and understand the policy and procedure to follow should they have concerns about a member of staff. The manager has failed to ensure all staff are aware of the policy, and procedures, for administering medicines.
