Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right. Following Ofsted's statutory duty to ensure suitability of committee members we received some information which we needed to speak to the provider about.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 10 May 2024, we carried out a regulatory telephone cal. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. Application forms for new committee members have been submitted to Ofsted, but we have not received all the required information, in a timely fashion, to allow us to complete suitability checks. In addition, we have not been notified of committee members who have left the committee. It is an offence for the provider to fail to notify Ofsted of committee members leaving or joining within 14 days.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We have issued an action for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n implement an effective system for new committee members to submit all required information to Ofsted to allow suitability checks to be completed in a timely fashion

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider is still registered with Ofsted. We will monitor the provider's response to ensure the action is successfully completed.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
