Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 8 March 2024, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 29 April 2024, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found that the provider had failed to notify Ofsted of a significant event, which is a requirement of their registration. The provider gave a reasonable response for this failure and understood the need to inform Ofsted of notifications in the future.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Additionally, during the regulatory call we found new areas of concern. This means that the provider was not meeting other requirements as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage. We have issued an action for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Summary of outcome

n ensure all staff including the provider understand their safeguarding policy and procedures and ensure that all staff have up to date knowledge of safeguarding issues, in particular, the procedures to follow in the event of an allegation being made against staff.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 2 May 2024, the provider responded to the action set. We found that the provider had reviewed and updated their safeguarding policies and procedures. These were shared and discussed with staff to help ensure everyone is clear of the correct procedures to follow in the event of allegations being raised. The provider also shared that further safeguarding training has been scheduled for both herself and her staff team.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare action raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
