Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 20 March 2024, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 29 April 2024, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of local child protection procedures and now fully understands their responsibilities if they were concerned about a child or if an allegation was made. The provider has improved their understanding of suitability checks and no longer leaves children in sole care of any person whose suitability has not been confirmed. They have ensured they have appropriate documentation and records available about children, including dates and records of attendance. They have completed additional safeguarding training, including safer sleeping for babies to improve their knowledge and understanding. The provider now fully understands their responsibilities with regard to ensuring they only transport children in appropriately insured vehicles. They have accessed support from the local authority to improve their provision.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
