Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 7 March 2024, the provider notified us that they had dismissed a member of staff. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of any person who cares for or is in regular contact with children on the premises.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 15 March 2024, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued an action for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted. Action needed by 22 March 2024:

n ensure that where you have concerns about children's safety or welfare, that you immediately notify the local authority children's social care team, in line with local reporting procedures.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We also found that the provider did not keep a record of relevant information about all children who attend the setting, such as staff members children. However, they have now ensured they have relevant records in place and so we did not require them to take any action in relation to this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 22 March 2024 the provider responded to say that relevant policies and procedures have been reviewed and shared with staff. All staff have been reminded about the procedure to follow should they have concerns about a child's welfare. Also that the procedure must be implemented within one day. In addition, staff with children at the setting will now complete registration forms for their child. Information will also be gained from staff about any changes to their home life, including if they have any involvement and support received from other agencies. We are satisfied with the action taken by the provider.
