The staff undertake adequate training. New staff receive a full induction and work shadow shifts. This supports continuity of care. However, not all staff have attained the relevant qualifications within the required timescales.
p.2
Findings from the inspection
When external staff work in the home due to staff shortages, they work alongside a permanent member of staff. This ensures that children are cared for by at least one person who they know.

Safeguarding incidents are managed appropriately. On the rare occasion when children are missing from the home, staff explore the reasons. Children are listened to, and plans are changed. This ensures that children are kept safe. Assurance inspection report for children’s home: 2633818 3
