Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 25 January 2024, although the provider notified us that young children had accessed resources that were not age appropriate, the notification was not made within the required timescale. This means that the provider did not meet their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of the early years provider to look after children.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 26 February 2024, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider ensures that staff receive appropriate induction training to support staff to understand their roles and responsibilities in working with children. The provider's first aid arrangements are clear and robust, with the majority of staff being trained in paediatric first aid. Staff are knowledgeable and know how to respond to a first aid emergency quickly. Furthermore, the provider has ensured that staff who work with children under two have received training in the care of babies. This results in staff who understand how to meet the care and learning needs of babies.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We also found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. They have removed the damaged resources that may pose a choking hazard to babies. Additionally, they have employed housekeeping staff to undertake operational tasks in the baby room to ensure that key persons are available to adequately supervise children. The provider has also improved the deployment of staff to ensure that babies are supervised during play. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
