p.2

Findings from the inspection

The child has become increasingly safer and more independent since the last inspection. The child no longer goes missing from the home and has not required the use of restraint. Although the child’s educational engagement is variable, it is vastly improved from their starting point at the home. These are clear signs of progress compared to the last inspection.

p.2

Findings from the inspection

The staff know and support the child exceptionally well. The staff enable the child to spend quality time with their family. Staff have helped to create a safety plan to enable the child to see their friend in and outside of the home. This helps the child to maintain relationships with those people who are important to them.

p.2

Findings from the inspection

The child’s social worker is particularly pleased that the manager arranged and paid for the child to receive psychotherapy. The child attends sessions with the psychotherapist regularly.

p.2

Staff have a good understanding of the child’s needs and recognise their progress. Staff recognise the reduction in risks that the child is exposed to. Risk assessments reflect this progress and only include current risks. This ensures that the child is not subject to unnecessary rules and restrictions.

p.2

Findings from the inspection

The child has not been subject to any safeguarding concerns since the last inspection. Despite this, staff’s understanding of safeguarding processes and procedures are good.
