On 04 January 2024, we also received a notification from the provider advising us that an unauthorised person had entered the nursery building. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to report a significant event. On 5 January 2024 and 12 January 2024, we carried out regulatory telephone calls. We found the provider had not met some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. Risk assessments have been reviewed and immediate measures put into place to ensure the nursery building is secure, and that all staff are clear of their responsibilities.
