Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 14 November 2023, we carried out an inspection and found the childminder was not meeting some of these requirements. The inspection report sets out the actions the childminder was required to take to meet the requirements. As a result of the inspection outcome, we served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the childminder to take actions within the timescales set out. We also took steps to cancel the childminder's registration.

Summary of outcome
On 5 December 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check the childminder had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their previous inspection, while we continued to take steps to cancel her registration. During the visit, we found the childminder had met the actions raised.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The childminder had improved her knowledge of child protection and who to contact should she have any concerns about a child's welfare. The childminder had also trained her assistant to understand the safeguarding policy and procedures. As a result, the childminder and her assistant have up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding matters.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The childminder requested to resign her registration. We accepted her decision to resign from the Early Years Register and both parts of the Childcare Register. The childminder is no longer registered with Ofsted.
