This provision does not meet requirements

n The childminder does not demonstrate a secure knowledge of all the requirements of her registration. She does not engage with professional development opportunities to ensure that her knowledge remains up to date. As a result, there are breaches to the requirements. n Although the childminder has attended a child protection training course, she does not have secure and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of how to safeguard children. The childminder is not secure in her knowledge of the appropriate action to take, or who to contact, if she has concerns about children in her care or in the event of an allegation about herself or a household member. The childminder is not familiar with the 'Prevent' duty. This weak safeguarding knowledge compromises children's safety and well-being. n The childminder is unable to demonstrate that she holds a valid paediatric first- aid certificate or has appropriate insurance in place to cover her premises. p.2

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
