Summary of outcome
We suspended the provider's registration on 2 November 2022 because we believe children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.
p.2
Summary of outcome
On 9 December 2022, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection. We found the provider had met some of the safeguarding and welfare actions but not others.
p.2
Summary of outcome
The provider has taken some action to rectify the risks within the premises. However, not all risks had been identified and we found there were still significant hazards which pose a risk of harm to children. The provider has improved fire safety and evacuation procedures. However, the provider still does not have child protection training and demonstrates a poor understanding of their safeguarding role. The provider has improved their understanding of their legal requirement to take children outdoors daily. However, sufficient steps have not been taken to ensure accidents and/or injuries to children and responded to and recorded effectively or to ensure that children's health is supported and promoted.
