Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 30 October 2023, the provider notified us an incident relating to the management of children's dietary requirements. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant events.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 9 November 2023, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider investigated the incident and held a management meeting to review their nursery processes relating to the management of children's dietary needs. The provider has adapted their paperwork relating to this and put further measures in place, including more visuals, to increase the level of information shared between their staff team, including kitchen staff. The provider has put additional checks in place that staff must complete before snacks or meals are served to children with allergies and intolerances. Finally, the provider has met with all staff and ensured the team have completed refresher training on managing children's dietary needs. The provider is robustly monitoring practice around snacks and mealtimes to ensure practice has improved.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
