Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

Summary of outcome

On 26 September 2023, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The report and inspection outcome will be published in due course. Following the inspection, we served a welfare requirements notice on 29 September 2023. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

Summary of outcome

On 12 October 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection. At the visit we found that the provider has improved their knowledge and understanding of risk assessment to help keep children safe. We also found that the provider now provides safe and suitable sleeping arrangements for children and promotes good hygiene practices. Furthermore, we found that the provider now uses positive behaviour management strategies to help children learn about expected behavioural boundaries. Daily routines have been reviewed so that children's care needs are now met more effectively. The provider has addressed gaps in her practice and now maintains a record of any accidents and incidents that occur on the premises.

p.2

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
