Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

Summary of outcome
On 13 October 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We found that the provider had updated their safeguarding policy with support from the Local Authority and it is now in line with the guidance and procedures of the local children's safeguarding partnership. The childminder shows she understands the updates to her policy. The childminder is able to discuss her understanding of FGM and is aware of signs and systems of this type of abuse. She is clear on her duty to report any concerns or evidence regarding FGM. The childminder has improved her knowledge of what to do in the event of an allegation against herself or member of the household. She now shows an understanding of the role of the LADO and knows when they would need to be contacted. The childminder is able to discuss the signs and symptoms of radicalisation and understands her responsibility to report any concerns she has regarding children's exposure to extremism or terrorism. The childminders policy also reflects this duty and contains the relevant contacts
