Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundationstage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 5 October 2023, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 9 October 2023 we carried out a regulatory visit. We found that the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. She had made changes to her risk assessment and to her procedures to supervise children when on the school run. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We also found that the provider failed to notify Ofsted of this significant event, which is a requirement of registration.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Additionally, during the regulatory visit on 9 October 2023, we found new areas of concern. This means that the provider was not meeting other requirements as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage.

p.1

Summary of outcome

In relation to the new areas of concern, we issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted. Actions needed by 20 October 2023:

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 16 April 2023 the provider responded to the actions raised. We found that the provider had improved supervision arrangements, including at mealtimes. She had considered the needs of all children when making exceptions to the usual ratios. Daily records of attendance had been improved. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
