Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 17 July 2023, we received a notification that raised concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 24 August 2023, we carried out an unannounced regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements but had taken action to put this right. We also found that the provider had failed to notify Ofsted of a serious incident as soon as is reasonably practicable, or at the latest within 14 days. This is a requirement of their registration.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We found that following the incident, the provider took prompt action to reassess her supervision of children when she is preparing food and has assessed the potential risks during this time to ensure children are safe. She has reviewed and made improvements to the information she collects from parents before children attend. The provider has also improved her understanding of what Ofsted needs to be notified about.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 6 September 2023, we carried out a second regulatory visit. When reviewing the safeguarding policy we found breaches of requirements in the provider's safeguarding policy and knowledge. We issued actions for the provider to take:-
p.1
Summary of outcome
improve your understanding of all current and local safeguarding matters and attend an appropriate child protection training course
p.1
Summary of outcome
ensure that your safeguarding children policy is in line with the guidance and procedures of the relevant local safeguarding partners (LSP).
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
