Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 7 August 2023, the provider notified us of an incident. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 24 August 2023, we carried out an unannounced regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued an action for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
p.1
Summary of outcome
strengthen staff's knowledge and understanding of the importance of ensuring a robust risk assessment is completed so that children in their care are not exposed to risks in the outdoor environment.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 30 August 2023, the provider responded to the action set. We found that the provider had strengthened staff's knowledge and understanding of the importance of ensuring a robust risk assessment is completed so that children in their care are not exposed to risks in the outdoor environment. Going forward, they have updated the risk assessment procedures to make sure they are carried out robustly, and that children are kept safe in the outdoor areas. This includes the baby room garden, where identified potential hazards have been removed or fixed. In addition, meetings have been held with staff in each room to ensure they clearly understand their role and responsibility in identifying a risk or potential hazard and the action to be taken. The action taken by the provider will help to ensure the safety of children while playing outdoors.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
