Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 21 June 2023, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 22 June 2023, the provider notified us that a child had fallen from climbing equipment and sustained a significant injury. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of significant events.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 27 June 2023, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. In relation to some of these requirements, the provider had already taken action to put this right. They had updated their risk assessment and made adaptations to the climbing equipment to make it safe.
p.1
Summary of outcome
In relation to other requirements, we have issued an action for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
n ensure that staff are only included in ratios when they are available to directly work with children, and that changes to the ratios are only applied in exceptional circumstances and where the quality of care and education is not compromised.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 6 July 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare action, raised during the previous telephone regulatory event. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We suspended this provider's registration on 6 July 2023 because we believed children may be at risk of harm.
p.1
Summary of outcome
Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required, while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so. On 10 July 2023 we lifted the suspension because the provider chose to resign their registration.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider is no longer registered with Ofsted.
p.2
