Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 9 June 2023, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 4 July 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised at their last inspection.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We found that staff had a sound knowledge of safeguarding issues. They know how to identify possible signs and symptoms of abuse and have improved their knowledge of the 'Prevent' duty guidance. The lead practitioner has developed their understanding of safeguarding and is now aware of the correct procedures to follow in the event of an allegation being made against a member of staff. The provider understands the circumstances in which a referral to the Disclosure and Barring Service would be required. The systems for recording and logging information have been improved. The provider understands that all information and records, including accident and safeguarding records, need to be clear, accurate and sufficiently detailed. Risk assessment is effective. The provider has ensured that any potential risks or hazards to children's safety has been identified and removed, or minimised, to keep children safe.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
