Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 4 July 2023, the provider notified us of a significant event. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of the early years provider or any person who cares for, or is in regular contact with children on the premises to look after children.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 12 July 2023, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider has reviewed the process for contacting the Local Designated Safeguarding Officer (LADO) to ensure advice is sought without delay prior to any internal investigation taking place in the setting. They have supported staff in refreshing their knowledge and understanding of their safeguarding policy and procedures, to ensure that all staff have an up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding issues. This also includes, when and how to respond in a timely and appropriate way when witnessing any inappropriate behaviour displayed by other members of staff, or any other person working with the children. In addition, they have reissued a new employee handbook to all staff to ensure staff are aware of their role and responsibility.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
