Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 26 September 2022, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 25 November 2022, we carried out an unannounced inspection. The report and inspection outcome will be published in due course. Following the inspection, we served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out.

p.1

Summary of outcome

ensure all staff and those with designated lead responsibility for safeguarding know they must report all allegations to Ofsted in addition to the local authority designated officer

p.1

Summary of outcome

ensure all children's attendance records are made available and accessible to those who have a right or professional need to see them.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 21 December 2022, we carried out an unannounced regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised in the welfare requirement notice. We found that the provider had ensured all staff and those with designated lead responsibility had improved their knowledge of safeguarding.

p.1

Summary of outcome

The provider had held meetings with staff to refresh their understanding of allegations and what must be reported to Ofsted. The provider had rewritten their safeguarding procedures protocol to align with the guidance and procedures of the relevant local safeguarding partners (LSP). The provider has demonstrated they are able to respond to allegations appropriately.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Additionally, we found that the provider had maintained children's attendance records, and these were available to Ofsted during the visit.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised and ensures children's records are available to those who have a right or professional need to see them. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider remains registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.2

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
