Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 27 April 2023, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. The inspection report sets out the actions the provider was required to take to meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 07 June 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider had taken action to meet some of the requirements. For example, children now have access to fresh drinking water. The provider also ensures that she maintains a daily record of the names of the children being cared for on the premises and their hours of attendance. In addition, the childminder has removed the hazards within the home. However, at the regulatory visit, we found that the provider had not taken action to meet some of the other requirements. We have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

Summary of outcome
On 20 June 2023, we carried out a further regulatory visit. We found the provider responded to the actions set. She has now taken steps to ensure her premises, with specific regard to the overall floor space available is suitable to meet the needs of all children. She has also improved arrangements for checking the ongoing suitability of assistants who work with children. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
