Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 05 May 2023, the provider notified us that the setting had been operating from an alternative address for the day and a child had gone missing. The child was seen by a member of the public and brought back to the address. It is not clear how long the child was missing for. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of a significant incident.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We suspended the provider's registration on 09 May 2023 because we believed children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension. The provider may not provide childcare for which registration is required while the suspension is in place and may commit an offence if they do so.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 11 May 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.2
Summary of outcome
On 12 May 2023, we lifted the suspension because we are satisfied that the identified risk of harm to children has been removed.
p.2
Summary of outcome
On 24 May 2023, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of registered premises and the requirement to seek approval for any change of premises. The policy for missing children has been updated. All staff have been trained in the procedures to follow if a child goes missing. They have revised their policies and procedures to keep children safe and ensure that staff are deployed effectively at all times. The key person system has been revised to ensure that positive relationships can be build between staff, parents and children.
p.2
Summary of outcome
We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
