This provision does not meet requirements

n Although there were no children present at the time of the inspection, the provision is suitable and safe to provide care and education to children. Although not yet set up, there is evidence of some activities available too. The childminder takes pride in offering flexibility and continuous support to any prospective parents. n The childminder has an idea of how to set up her provision to facilitate children's learning. However, her knowledge and understanding of the statutory requirements are limited. n Although the childminder has a set of ideas to support children's learning and development, such as singing and dancing activities, she has limited awareness of the areas of learning. Furthermore, despite displaying an understanding of how to be a good role model for all children, her knowledge of the learning and development requirements is very weak. n Although the childminder has a system in place to gather and record children's

relevant information prior to them starting at her provision, the childminder does not have sufficient understanding of how to organise and deliver a curriculum that meets all children's needs. n Although the childminder mentions inclusion at her setting, this is not supported by evidence or a thorough understanding of the wider concept. n While the childminder has an ambitious vision for her own personal development, career growth and the expansion of her provision, this is not supported by her knowledge and understanding of the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage'. n The childminder understands it is very important to keep children safe and supervise them well. She understands the basic signs of abuse. The childminder is clear about where to refer any concerns she may have about a child in her care.

p.2

This provision does not meet requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
