This provision meets requirements

n The childminder has a secure knowledge of how to safeguard children in her care. She understands the signs that may indicate a child is at risk and issues, such as grooming, county lines and the 'Prevent' duty. The childminder knows the referral procedures to follow if she is concerned about a child. This helps to keep children safe. n The childminder recently informed Ofsted of a significant event, which occurred in an area of the garden that is usually out of bounds to children. The childminder informed parents and took immediate action to ensure this does not happen again. This shows that the childminder demonstrates a good understanding of the requirement to notify Ofsted of a significant event. n The childminder explains how she works alongside assistants and monitors their practice. She provides support and helps identify professional development opportunities. This enables them to continually build their knowledge and skills.

This provision meets requirements

14 April 2023 There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
