Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

Summary of outcome
On 8 February 2023, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The report and inspection outcome will be published in due course. Following the inspection, we served a welfare requirements notice on 20 February 2023. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

Summary of outcome
On 14 March 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the childminder had met the safeguarding and welfare actions and learning and development actions, raised at their last inspection. The childminder had improved her knowledge of administering medication. She will ensure that medicine is only given to a child where written permission for that medication has been obtained from the child's parent and/or carer. The childminder has arrangements in place to ensure that parents are informed about their children's progress to help support their learning at home. She will ensure a regular two-way flow of information with other settings children attend to promote consistency in their care and education. The childminder has started to update her professional development through training.
