All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

Following the inspection, we served a welfare requirements notice on 13 February 2023. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

We found that the provider had taken effective action in order to meet the actions set. She has undertaken training and professional development opportunities that enabled her to improve her understanding of the requirements around the safeguarding and welfare of children. The provider has put in place procedures to deal with safeguarding concerns. This promotes children safety. She identified further ways by which she plans on keeping her professional development relevant and up to date. We will assess the impact of these when we complete the re-inspection.
