Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 9 Dec 2022, we caried out an inspection and found that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. The overall effectiveness of the provision was judged to be inadequate. We served a welfare requirement notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions set out in the inspection report. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 25 January 2023, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the provider had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection. We found that the provider had not met the majority of actions set in the welfare requirement notice. Additionally, they had temporarily closed the nursery. The manager had made some improvements. She had improved the systems used for the management of food allergies and she had improved the procedure for the induction of temporary staff. The manager explained how the actions taken would help to ensure that, in future, all staff would be fully informed about the needs of the children they were responsible for. The provider had not made sufficient progress in addressing the other actions set.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 7 February 2023, we served another welfare requirements notice.
