This provision meets requirements

n The childminder explains how she takes the time needed to get to know children's interests. She uses this knowledge to plan children's activities and describes how they help them learn. For example, following visits to the farm, the childminder provides children with model farm yard animals and messy play opportunities. The childminder does this, so that children can explore sensory experiences while she models new words and vocabulary. n The childminder demonstrates that she has an understanding of the importance of supporting children's readiness for the next stages in their learning. She describes how children enjoy books and take these home to read at home. She explains how she encourages children to develop their independence by putting on their coats by themselves and washing their hands before eating. The childminder explains that she attends a range of groups, so that children have the opportunity to interact and develop socially with other children.

This provision meets requirements

20 January 2023 There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
