Summary of outcome
On 30 November 2022, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements and had taken action to put this right. The provider had reviewed their risk assessment for outings to include assessing risk that members of the public may pose and how to manage this.

On 5 January 2023 we received additional information relating to the previous notification from the provider.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We suspended the provider's registration on 10 January 2023 because we believed children may be at risk of harm. Suspension allows time for the provider to take steps to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm to children. The provider has a right to appeal against a suspension.

On 25 January 2023, the childminder appealed the decision to suspend registration to an independent external tribunal, the Health, Education and Social Care First-tier Tribunal. On 10 February 2023 prior to the appeal being heard, we lifted the suspension as we received additional information that confirmed that the identified grounds for suspension no longer applied.
