Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 27 January 2023, the provider notified us that an allegation has been made. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any significant event which is likely to affect the suitability of the early years provider or any person who cares for, or is in regular contact with, children on the premises to look after children. In addition to this, on 27 January 2023, we received a complaint about the setting which had related concerns.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 1 and 2 February 2023, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. The provider had failed to follow the correct safeguarding procedures.
p.1
Summary of outcome
We have issued actions for the provider to take. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

Summary of outcome
gain a secure knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policy and procedures, in particular, when to notify the local authority designated officer (LADO) of an allegation and to seek and follow their advice and to inform other agencies with statutory responsibilities, including the local child protection agencies, without delay.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 8 February 2023 the provider responded to the action set. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of child protection and safeguarding procedures. This included when to notify the local authority designated officer (LADO) of an allegation and to seek and follow their advice and to inform other agencies with statutory responsibilities, including the local child protection agencies, without delay. Going forward, after discussion with the LADO and following his advice, they have arranged for the Early Years Safeguarding and Quality Improvement Lead, to conduct a safeguarding audit in the setting. The designated safeguarding leads are to attend further refresher training and further staff meetings are planned to reinforce the safeguarding and procedures with all staff members. We are satisfied the provider has met the safeguarding and welfare actions raised. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
