For example, the childminder explains how children are taught safety rules and procedures, such as how to travel safely from school and what to do in an emergency in the home. n The childminder understands the importance of working in partnership with parents to support their children's learning and development. This provision meets requirements

n The childminder has excellent arrangements in place to risk assess and manage the safety of the children in her care. For example, daily risk assessments are carried out of the premises and equipment. In addition, children who have allergies and medical needs are carefully considered before introducing new ingredients into the setting. n The childminder describes how she embeds culture and diversity throughout her setting. The childminder plans for children to experience a wide variety of different cultural foods, traditions and celebrations. For example, the childminder explains how children are encouraged to make 'Happy Hanukkah' cards for class mates and helped to understand why some people choose not to eat pork. n The childminder understands the signs and symptoms that may indicate a child is at risk of harm. She knows how to report any concerns, including allegations against another adult.

p.2

This provision meets requirements

There were no children in the early years age range present when this inspection took place. The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no early years children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
