On 13 July 2022, we carried out an inspection and found the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 14 July 2022 we received additional information relating to the providers practice which was also considered as part of the inspection. The inspection resulted in an inadequate grading. Following the inspection, we served a welfare requirements notice on 28 July 2022. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

Summary of outcome
On 10 August 2022, the provider responded to the actions set. We found that the provider had improved their knowledge and understanding of the importance of respectful working partnerships with parents. The provider has reviewed systems for sharing essential information with parents, such as accident reports. Staff have attended training which has helped them to understand how to provide a more enabling, effective learning environment for children. Staff now feel more equipped to support children through behaviour management. The provider now ensures that any risks to children are swiftly identified and rectified. Furthermore, effective short-term solutions are now in place to ensure children have access to hot, running water, while the provider awaits long-term maintenance work on the boiler system.
