Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the 'Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage', which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 15 December 2022 we received information that raised concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements. On 11 January 2023 the provider notified us about a significant event.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 13 January 2023, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found that the provider was previously not meeting some of the requirements, particularly in relation to food and drink and information and records. Also, the provider had failed to notify Ofsted about a significant event within the required timescales. They have now implemented procedures to ensure that information from parents about children's dietary needs are in place and they have effective procedures to share information with parents. The provider was able to assure us that they understand the reporting requirements to Ofsted. Additionally, the staff team does not currently meet the requirements for staff: child ratios in relation to numbers of qualified staff. The provider is taking steps on a weekly basis to address this by using qualified staff from other nurseries within the group. On this occasion we took no further action because we believe the provider will meet the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
