n Leaders and staff carry out daily risk assessments of the school grounds to ensure the safety of children. They make the necessary checks to ensure children are provided with a safe and secure place to play. Safeguarding
The arrangements for safeguarding are not effective.
p.3
Safeguarding
Staff complete safeguarding training. They have a good knowledge of the different types and signs of abuse. However, clear procedures are not in place to ensure all staff know who to go to should they have concerns about a child's welfare, but they plan to join future training sessions at the school in which they operate. There are effective recruitment and induction procedures in place to ensure staff's suitability to work with children. Risk assessments are effective. For example, staff make daily checks of the environment and the equipment to ensure everything is safe for children to use. They make sure children can always be seen while playing outside and operate a password system to ensure all children are picked up safely.
