Summary of outcome

On 18 November 2022, the provider notified Ofsted about a significant event involving a member of staff. This notification means the provider has met their legal responsibility as set out in the early years foundation stage welfare requirements to notify Ofsted of a significant event.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 20 December 2022, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. During the call, we found the provider has effective systems to ensure the suitability of staff. We also found the provider had taken effective action to tighten the nursery's whistle-blowing procedure. Policies have been updated and shared with staff to ensure they are able to implement the nursery's safeguarding procedures. This includes ensuring all staff understand the whistle- blowing policy, so that any concerns can be reported promptly.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We are satisfied with the action taken by the provider and no further action was required by Ofsted on this matter. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We aim to ensure that the welfare of children and young people is protected in the services we regulate. The Childcare Act 2006 and accompanying regulations set out our responsibilities to regulate childminders and childcare providers. This includes the enforcement powers we have in relation to those registered providers who do not comply with the requirements for registration.

p.1

Publication of compliance action

We publish details of any actions we take, or the childminder or childcare provider takes to bring about compliance with requirements on our website for a period of five years.
