Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 16 November 2022, we received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of these requirements.

p.1

Summary of outcome

On 18 November 2022, we carried out a regulatory visit. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have served a welfare requirements notice. This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

p.1

Summary of outcome

Ensure you obtain parents and/or carers' permission to leave children with an assistant, including for very short periods of time

p.1

Summary of outcome

Demonstrate how you ensure that children are not left in the sole care of assistants for more than two hours in a single day, and are not left with assistants at all when the childminder is on holiday or not working for any other reason.

p.1

Summary of outcome

We made a follow up visit to the provider on 13 December 2022 to ensure the action is successfully completed. We found that the provider had obtained all parents' written permission for an assistant to have sole charge of their children for up to two hours. Assistants also confirm that they do not work when the provider is not working. We are satisfied with the action taken and the provider is still registered with Ofsted.
