Summary of outcome
On 6 December 2022, we carried out a regulatory visit. The focus of the visit was to check whether the childminder had met the safeguarding and welfare actions, raised at their last inspection.

The childminder has updated her knowledge and understanding regarding the role of the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO). She understands the procedures to follow in the event of an allegation being made against herself or household members. The childminder has a clear understanding of her responsibilities under Data Protection Legislation. She has undertaken additional training to support her practice in working with children. The childminder has also taken steps to enable Ofsted to determine the suitability of all people over the age of 16 living on childminding premises. She has applied for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and has taken steps to register an individual as a household member. Receipt of this will be monitored.
