Summary of outcome

All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

This is a legal notice that requires the provider to take the actions below within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this.

Summary of outcome

On 17 August 2022, we found that the provider had not met all the actions set in the welfare requirement notice. However, she had made some improvements. She had updated her safeguarding policy to ensure the procedures for the use of cameras and mobile phones was clear. She had updated some of her documentation to ensure this meets legal requirements, such as in relation to recruitment and seeking parental permissions to leave minded children in the care of an assistant. The provider had reviewed the space available to care for children and now clearly understands how many children she has space to care for. However, we have served another welfare requirements notice. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.
