Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.

Summary of outcome

We found that the provider had taken on the role of the practitioner designated to take lead responsibility for safeguarding children. She has started to provide support, advice and guidance to staff on an ongoing basis, to develop their knowledge. We found that staff had received some training to understand the setting's safeguarding policy and procedures, and other staff were booked on training. The criminal records check reference number, the date the check was obtained and details of who obtained it were available for inspection. The provider had started to put plans in place to provide sufficiently detailed information to parents about their child's next steps to support learning at home.
