Summary of outcome
All early years providers must meet the legal requirements in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage (EYFS), which you can find at www.gov.uk/government/publications/early-years-foundation-stage-framework--2. If we find that a provider is not meeting the requirements, we can take action to ensure they put matters right.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 23 September 2022, the provider notified us that an accident had taken place at the setting. The notification means that the provider met their legal responsibility as set out in the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage to notify Ofsted of any serious accident, illness or injury to any child while in their care. On 26 September 2022, we also received concerns that the provider was not meeting some of the requirements.
p.1
Summary of outcome
On 27 September 2022, we carried out a regulatory telephone call. We found the provider was not meeting some of the requirements. We have issued actions for the provider to take within the timescales set out. The provider will be able to give parents further information about this. In addition, we identified that the provider had failed to notify Ofsted of a change to the manager, which is a requirement of the EYFS. The provider is still registered with Ofsted.

Summary of outcome
On 7 October 2022, the provider responded to the actions issued. We found that the provider has updated their safeguarding policy, refreshed staff knowledge and understanding of the policy, including additional training. They have amended their key- person system to ensure that staff and parents communicate more regularly and more effectively to meet the individual needs of all children. The provider has made changes to their first-aid policy, including how accidents are recorded and shared with parents and what, if any, treatment has been provided.
